Our 'HALAL' Commitment

At Pan Citarasa Sdn. Bhd., we strongly believe and support the government roles and efforts on the HALAL commitment. As a 'muslim' company, we thank to ALLAH for His bless and will abide with the HALAL regulations context and content.

HALAL is an Arabic term meaning permissible, allowable or lawful. The term is used to describe anything permissible under the Islamic law, in contrast to 'HARAM', that which is forbidden. This includes behaviour, speech, dress, conduct, manner and dietary laws.

In Islam, a strong emphasis is placed on cleanliness - both spiritually (moral conduct) and in the context of food and drink. For a food or drink product to be approved for consumption it must conform to the Islamic dietary laws as specified in the Quran, the Hadith (sayings) of the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W., his Sunnah (tradition) and in the Fiqh (understanding) of the Islamic Jurists: Hanafi, Shafie, Maliki and Hambali.

In the context of dietary laws, HALAL is in the jurisdictions of food & drinks production, manufacturing, management, cleanliness, safety, storage, preparation, procurement and purification.

Pan Citarasa Sdn. Bhd. will ensure that its businesses are conform and consistent to the HALAL commitment.
